Lily Says No is a book designed to open up dialogue between parents/guardians and children about sexual abuse and allows children to understand that they have authority over their bodies. "Lily Says NO " is a story about a little girl, who lives with her mum, sibling and step-parent. Her trust is broken when she experiences child abuse. This story is written in a format children as young as six can comprehend and is designed to
create awareness of what to do in dangerous situations and highlight that such acts are inappropriate and unacceptable.
Lily lives at home with her loving mum and brother. She also lives with her step-dad Mark who makes her feel uncomfortable. When Mark starts to make her play 'touching games' with him, Lily tells her mum. Find out why telling a trusted adult is the best thing she could ever have done.
