Mystery author Catriona McPherson is known for her "laugh-out-loud whodunits" as well as being the creator of tales that "shiver with suspense." She joins us on Saturday, April 20th (6:30-8 pm) to celebrate her new Last Ditch mystery, Scot & Soda!
Settled in her little houseboat, moored in the slough behind the Last Ditch Motel, Lexy Campbell wants nothing more than to build her counseling business, avoid her mother's phone calls, and - who knows? - meet a nice guy. But when she throws a party for her motley crew of motel pals, the only single man is too old for her, too wrapped around the seventy-two pack chilling in the slough, and - oh, yes, - too dead.
Like Lexy, Catriona was born in Scotland and lived there until 2010, before immigrating to California. A former academic linguist, she is now a full-time fiction writer. Some of her books include the multi-award-winning and best-selling Dandy Gilver detective stories, the Edgar-finalist The Day She Died and Mary Higgins Clark finalists The Child Garden and Quiet Neighbors.
Be sure to join us to meet this terrific author!
