Booksigning with Elena Taylor and James L'Etoile

Buried secrets and heart-pounding plots...join us on Saturday, May 2nd from 6:30-8 for a great night of crime fiction as we host authors James L'Etoile and Elena Taylor!

In Elena Taylor's All We Buried, Elizabeth "Bet" Rivers has been filling the ill-fitting shoes of her late father as interim sheriff in her small Washington town. When a woman's body floats to the surface of a lake, no one claims to know her. The more Bet learns, the more she realizes she doesn't really know her neighbors - or her town's tragic history.

How do you stop a killer who's already behind bars? James L'Etoile's Bury the Past follows Sacramento detectives Penley and Newberry as they investigate a case involving the trafficking of stolen street drugs. They quickly discover that corrupt cops are behind the crimes. As political pressure mounts, it's clear someone has to pay...and it might be one of the detectives.

Elena Taylor worked in theater as a playwright, director, and designer for 20 years before turning her storytelling skills to fiction. She's also the author of a private eye series (the Eddie Shoes mysteries) under the name Elena Hartwell.

James L'Etoile's acclaimed crime novels (At What Cost, Bury the Past) are informed by his two decades working for the criminal justice system as associate warden, director of parole, and hostage negotiator.
