Our "In Conversation with" series of evenings gives us a chance to learn about books from notable local book-lovers. At our next session (Thursday, March 21st, 6:30-8 pm), Face in a Book owner Tina Ferguson talks books with Nick Dedier, chef and partner of our favorite restaurant, Milestone!
Before delighting the El Dorado Hills' community with the exceptional food and warm atmosphere of Milestone, Nick attended the Culinary Institute of America in New York and held positions at restaurants including Gary Danko in San Francisco and Thomas Keller's Ad Hoc in Yountville.
Nick's knowledge of food and cooking is staggering, so we're sure he'll have favorite cookbooks and food memoirs to share. But he's also an avid reader of science fiction and fantasy novels, and a bit of an Anglophile. The conversation should be interesting!
